Taco Gordo launched in the summer of 2014 with a spot in ArtsRiot's popular new Burlington Truck Stop. Since its inception, Taco Gordo has steadily grown a standout reputation for savory seasonal tacos and top-notch service.
As Taco Gordo entered its third year of operation, the owners sought to build on their existing popularity by further refining their brand while maintaining a "street food" feel, and improving both their web presence and search engine rankings.
To kick things off, JAM Creative produced a 20-page report on the local food cart and catering industries, along with key recommendations for general design and branding direction based on those findings. We then produced new brand elements, including a logo, a new responsive and mobile-friendly site, and original food photography styled to match.
We also launched a unique SEO campaign aimed at helping out-of-staters and other on-the-go folks find Taco Gordo in their hunger-fueled searches. They now rank on the front page for "Vermont Tacos" and other key search terms.
